Performed in-house, precision is the name of the game. Valve guide bores are straight, round, and true. Valve seat concentricity is measured on every job and meets or exceeds factory tolerances.

Do not trust your BMW heads to an automotive machine shop! The automotive approach simply is not adequate for the kind of precision required.

  • A standard rebuild includes all new guides, valves, springs, and media blasting

  • Valve seats are replaced as needed

  • Dual plugging is available

  • Exhaust and spark plug threads can be repaired at this time also.

  • We can even repair cracked or broken fins and resurface gouged gasket faces

  • Laser welding is used wherever possible to ensure there is no distortion or change of heat treatment to your head but TIG is often needed for bigger repairs

    This service is available for all Airheads, including pre 1969 models.
